Rent houses and apartments Phuket

Located more than 800 kilometers south of Bangkok in the tropical Andaman Sea, Phuket is the largest island in Thailand. It is so big that it is, in fact, its very own province and that the word “Koh” was left out of its name—Koh means island in Thai.

Phuket is one of the most popular tropical beach destinations in this corner of the world, home to crystal-clear blue waters and colorful coral reefs, and featuring spectacular sunsets and beautiful beaches. As tourism has made Phuket the wealthiest province in Thailand, you can expect accommodation prices to reflect that status. Prices are generally a bit higher than they are on the mainland, which doesn’t imply that they are unaffordable, though—this is still Thailand, after all.

There are numerous breathtaking beaches on Phuket’s coastline, many of which are home to magnificent resorts. Staying in a resort may not be what you’re after, though, and in that case you can opt to rent a house or bungalow. These are available for both short-term and long-term stays. Fully furnished houses with two to three bedrooms can be rented for a few weeks up to several months—they generally cost between 7,000 and 10,000 baht per month. However, keep in mind that you will most likely have to pay a couple of months’ rent in advance. These houses aren’t located near the beach, though. Other houses that can be rented are luxury villas. These are normally located closer to the beach, but, as such, are much, much more expensive. On the plus side, the longer you stay, the lower the price per night will be—long-term stays will grant you discounts.
